Hello, my friends.
Last years were hard, heart-breaking, sometimes fun, optimistic and pessimistic at the same time. Many of my friends are struggling in war time. In fundraising. In relationships. In economy. Every one is fighting their own battles that can’t be put in comparison or even stand in the same sentence. Hence periods.
My year was better than past years, but not an easy year. Donated a lot of money. Left full-time job to join several ventures and grow my business. Bought everything I wanted (dream car, dream house, dream toys). Satisfied a lot of needs. Tried surfing and tennis. Struggled with work overload and worked for 16 hours too many days this year.
I’m looking for…
I want to share a list of my “wants and needs”, because it works miraculously — people often find it and offer some help, to which I’m very grateful for. My current needs are about people. I want to find more partners with whom I’m going to share work in upcoming years:
Find Payment Integrationist on Contract (connect Stripe, resolve fraud etc)
Find Email Expert Part-time (setup email newsletters, automation, content)
Find Head of Design Full-Time (deliver, hire people, work by revenue share)
If you are interested or know someone good — hit me up!
Small Ventures
On my weekends I started spending more time thinking about problems I want to solve for this world. Here are some repetitive topics that are coming up in my research:
Future of Work:
How to compensate creative, long-term thinking fairly
Better models to get compensated by multiple projects
Remote work is horrible. Office work too. Hybrid work too.
Future of Communication:
How to align incentives
How to share thinking, not a thought
How to work around bias
Future of Computing:
What the future of files look like?
Can OS be more flexible and personalised beyond widgets?
What’s better way to calendar/to-do/write/chat/take photos?
Future of Entrepreneurship:
Can a company with less than 5 people become unicorn?
How to navigate expensive legal/finance/ops challenges in a small team?
How many things can actually be automated?
Future of Media:
How to stop compete in attention economy?
What’s the media format of the future?
What if everyone is an editor? What if no one is an editor?
If you want to partner to make any of these ideas turned into business — hit me up. I’m looking for self-sustainable, hungry co-founders. No salary. No VC. Focusing on profit and real growth.
“Instagram is so fake”…
… I heard last years. But now it’s actually so much more truthful, than LinkedIn and Twitter. Raw, unpolished, quick snaps in stories. I’m genuinely surprised how much of “human connection” it brought to me last years. Follow me.
Next Issue (I don’t know when):
Show you four new products I’m working on (🤯)
Share small experiments I did in management style
Share some of client’s win from studio
Share the best people I’ve recently met
Cool apps to try:
PhotoStudio, to generate professional headshots by my twitter friend!
Melodics, to learn basics of music
Factorio, game about resources, recommended by CEOs
Superwhisper, better text dictation than native macOS.
At last, some AI explorations I did:
See you!
